Dave Yaraschefski

Director of the PMO
“Project Management allowed me to find creative ways to help other people become successful – which is a real passion of mine.”

After beginning his career as an engineer in product development, Dave fell in love with process design and improvement, which ultimately led him to transitioning into Project Management.

Dave developed his project management skills while leading high-dollar technology projects in the biomedical and material handling industries, where he learned the importance of “servant leadership” and collaboration.  Dave joined Auctor in 2013, and has built a successful and strategic PMO, due in part to a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style. “I would never ask my team to do something that I’m not willing to do myself,” he says. His team appreciates his amenable approach--and his regular thank yous. “It’s important to celebrate successes,” Dave says.

A graduate of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Dave also earned an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Butler University and holds a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute. He is also a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance.

As a former Division 3 college basketball player, Dave’s a huge college basketball fan. When he’s not trying to keep up with his busy kids, he coaches high school basketball and is a volunteer video director for his church.  He also is on the Board of Directors for the Boone County (Indiana) Community Foundation, where he helps with IT related processes that assist local non-profits.

“At the end of the day,” Dave emphasizes, “the way you treat people is far more important than anything else.”
