Howard C. Box, Jr. is Director of Technology at Auctor, where he leads technology strategy and execution in support of complex, mission‑critical client programs. He works closely with business and delivery leaders to align technology decisions with long‑term operational, modernization, and security objectives.
In this role, Howard oversees IT infrastructure, operations, software development, and enterprise technology strategy. His focus is on building resilient, secure platforms and guiding modernization efforts that help clients transition from legacy systems to scalable, future‑ready solutions—while maintaining continuity of service and managing risk.
Howard brings a pragmatic, outcomes‑driven approach to technology leadership. He emphasizes disciplined delivery, strong governance, and the thoughtful use of emerging technologies—including AI—to improve efficiency, quality, and decision‑making across the software development lifecycle.
Before joining Auctor, Howard held leadership and hands‑on roles in software development and delivery, including defining system architecture, managing ongoing releases, and leading development efforts for a web‑based analytics and inventory optimization product and telecommunications billing platforms. This background, along with his significant experience in meeting Auctors' customers' maintenance, operational, and modernization needs, enables him to bridge strategy and execution, translating business needs into practical, durable technical solutions.
