Brad started his career providing IT consulting services at a large regional accounting / advisory firm. He then became the CIO for a publicly traded broadcasting company before starting a LAN/WAN network integration company that was merged into Auctor Corporation in the mid-1990s.

Dave Yaraschefski

Director of Project Management Office

“My current position is a perfect marriage of my love of project management and my passion for mentoring others.”

More about Dave

After beginning his career as an engineer in product development, Dave joined Auctor in 2013. During his early career, he got involved with LEAN and Six Sigma processes and “fell in love” with process design and improvement.  “It allowed me to find creative ways to make people more successful – this ultimately led to a career in project management.”

At Auctor, Dave’s built a successful and strategic PMO, a success due in part to a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style. “I would never ask my team to do something that I’m not willing to do myself,” he says.

A graduate of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Dave also earned an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Butler University and holds a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.

As a former Division 3 college basketball player, Dave’s a Butler and Indiana University basketball fan. When he’s not trying to keep up with his busy kids, he coaches men’s basketball and is a volunteer video director for his church.

“At the end of the day,” Dave emphasizes, “the way you treat people is far more important than anything else.”

Mike Whitlock

Director of Finance

“Listening is my strongest and, without a doubt, favorite skill.”

More about Mike

A relative newcomer to Auctor, Mike Whitlock joined Auctor as Finance Director. He emphasizes that he is not “just” about accounting, but about vision: “My passion is helping business owners understand financial statements, helping to chart a course for improvements or opportunity, and securing financing to grow their business.”

After a start with a public accounting firm, Mike opened a small accounting practice in 1992. His initial focus was not-for profit organizations with a few specialty contractors. With revenues at his largest client growing quickly, he joined as financial controller, where he established internal controls and procedures.

Mike is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in General Management; he also holds CPA certification.

Outside of work, Mike is an enthusiastic fitness advocate, an avid gardener with a passion for growing hundreds of varieties of hostas, and a breeder of championship Labrador retrievers.

“I often volunteer and have been on the board of several not-for-profit organizations (for teens, dogs, and plants)—seems I always get to be the treasurer.”
